Logging In

This document describes the Password Reset procedure on the SNSC Secure Share web site. Please note that this procedure is used in both of the following scenarios:

a)      Resetting a password that has been forgotten.

b)      Initializing a new password when logging in for the first time.

In both of these cases, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Secure Share web site .


2. In the Full Login section, click the "Forgot your password?" link.

3. Enter your email address into the box indicated, then click the "Email Link" button.

4. If your email address represents a valid account, a confirmation page will appear containing further instructions.

5. The email you receive will look like the example shown at right. Click the link as indicated in the picture.

6. This should take you to the Reset Password page as shown here. Enter your email address again, then type your NEW password into both the "Password" and "Confirm Password" boxes. When you have completed filing in all fields, click the "Reset" button.

7. Note that the password must contain at least one digit (0-9) and one upper-case letter. If you do not meet these requirements, the system will notify you as shown here. If this occurs, enter (and confirm) a different password that meets the complexity requirements and click the "Reset" button again.

8. Once you have met the requirements, you will be taken to the Confirmation page shown here. Follow the on-screen instructions to get back to the login page.
